Senior QA Engineer · SDET Track · Backend and Automation Architecture

Engineering release systems that scale across automation, APIs, and backend workflows.

I build automation platforms, validation pipelines, and diagnostic tooling that improve reliability at scale. My work spans Java, Spring Boot, Playwright, Selenium, REST services, data checks, and the reporting layers teams depend on during large releases.

About

Automation designed with platform thinking, not script-by-script maintenance.

My background is rooted in quality engineering, but the systems I enjoy building sit closer to architecture: execution grids, reporting pipelines, API validation layers, and the internal tooling that makes releases predictable.

I work across browser automation, service validation, data verification, and CI-driven orchestration. The goal is not more tests. The goal is better operational signal, clearer diagnostics, and frameworks that remain maintainable under continuous change.

At e2open, I have led Selenium-to-Playwright modernization, improved flaky suite behavior, expanded backend-oriented coverage, and contributed to AI-assisted automation workflows that reduce manual effort without lowering engineering quality.

30-50% execution improvement delivered through Selenium to Playwright migration
UI + API + DB coverage strategy spanning interface, service, and persistence layers
CI-integrated automation embedded into release workflows and reporting feedback loops
Systems mindset focused on diagnostics, orchestration, and confidence at scale

Projects

Flagship platform concepts that position automation as engineering infrastructure.

These projects are framed as systems: execution coordination, analytics pipelines, AI-assisted maintenance, and reporting layers built for team-scale use rather than one-off test authoring.

Distributed Execution Work In Progress

Distributed Selenium Execution Grid

A distributed execution platform focused on worker orchestration, parallel scheduling, retry handling, and queue-aware scaling for large regression workloads.

  • Coordinates execution across remote workers and shared infrastructure
  • Improves throughput with controlled retries and workload isolation
  • Optimized for reliability over raw parallelism alone

AI-Driven Test Automation Assistant

AI-assisted framework for feature file generation, test analysis support, and maintainability guidance that reduces repetitive authoring while preserving reviewable engineering workflows.

  • Assists with feature modeling, analysis, and test maintenance paths
  • Supports faster authoring without hiding implementation detail
  • Built around reviewability and long-term framework health

Experience

Delivery outcomes across modernization, backend validation, and AI-assisted tooling.

01

Framework Modernization

Selenium to Playwright Migration

Reworked UI automation strategy from Selenium with Java to Playwright-based execution, improving run time, reducing flaky behavior, and increasing release confidence across repeated enterprise regression cycles.

02

Backend Validation

API Comparison and Bug Tracking Solution

Built a Rest-Assured workflow to compare DEV and PROD service behavior, surface drift quickly, and give teams faster visibility into environment-level defects.

03

AI + Internal Tooling

RAG-Powered Support and Test Assistance

Contributed to AI-driven internal tooling that improves support context, test generation workflows, and engineering productivity without disconnecting from system behavior and documentation quality.

GitHub Activity

Visible proof of active engineering work and continuous experimentation.

A public contribution surface helps recruiters validate consistency. It also supports the narrative that the transition toward backend and automation architecture is active, not aspirational.

Proof of Work

Contribution history adds credibility to platform-minded engineering claims.

The portfolio is intentionally static, but the GitHub activity block adds a live signal that the work continues beyond this page through code, experiments, and engineering iteration.
